Final Touches

Having finished all the site updates. We have some final touches to do. In this step, we will;

1. Test the site

Do a general site check to ensure the site is running as expected in the testing environment.

If it is an e-commerce site, test the shopping process.

If it is a membership site, try to sign up as a user and log in.

You can do various tests depending on the nature of your website.

The aim behind this is to ensure that none of the updates has broken the testing environment site.

2. Clear cache

• If your site has a caching plugin such as WP Rocket. Clear the cache of the site.
• Clear WP Engine server-level cache.
